The Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is Microsoft’s biggest annual event. This conference took place in Houston from July 7-11, 2013.
The turnout this year included more than 14,000 people from 150 countries.
This report describes the main parts of Microsoft’s product and partner strategy for its new FY14 book year and beyond as was presented during the 2013 Worldwide Partner Conference.
Just as in other years, WPC 2013 offered visitors a broad range of information. This event included 6 plenary vision keynote sessions, 17 value keynotes and no fewer than 360 break-out sessions, round tables and regional sessions, of which 37 were specifically for Dynamics. This report is limited to all the vision keynote presentations, supplemented by those value keynote presentations and breakout sessions that we attended.
Wherever possible, we place the contents of this conference in the perspective of the developments that have occurred within Microsoft during the last few months and years. And we provide relevant commentary. In our opinion, this gives the reader a useful grasp of the meaning of all the developments in the market and within Microsoft’s range of products and services.
